Beta Tournament — Claiming TANKS, NFTs and Championship Entry

The Tanks For Playing game lobby (https://game.tanksforplaying.io) has now been updated and Beta Participants are now able to redeem their beta points.

To access the page for redemption, visit the new menu item — Tournament.

This page will allow you to Claim your TANKS tokens, Claim NFT mint discounts and join the Beta Tournament Championship game if you were in the top 18 when the snapshot was taken.

Beta Points

This panel provides an overview of the number of points you currently have to spend and the current number of points which have been burned overall (spent) and the supply of beta points remaining. You can also see the number of TANKS your points could be converted to based on the current conversion rate.

At the bottom is the RISKY option to either double your tokens or have them all burned. This is determined by a random number generator — you have a 50:50 chance of either outcome.

Actions

The action panel contains options for converting Beta Points into various claims. NFT and TANKS claims will be paid out after an audit and after the tournament has concluded.

All actions must be performed before Friday 18th February 2022 at Midday UTC. Actions after this time will not be permitted by the Smart Contract.

To “Join final” you must have been in the Top 18 points holders when the snapshot was taken (14th Feb 2022 approx. midday UTC). If you did not make this cut, you cannot participate in the final. The cost of joining the final will be half of your beta points at the time of snapshot. If you spend more tokens than is required to enter the tournament — YOU WILL MISS OUT.

“Claiming NFT” will cost 500 points and will entitle you to an NFT which represents a 50% discount on the minting cost of a Tanks For Playing Play To Earn NFT. This NFT will be sent to the claimants address on Polygon once the tournament has been concluded and the TANKS tokens have been distributed. These NFTs can be redeemed in the future for the P2E NFT discount or can be traded to others. You can choose to redeem as many NFTs as you like.

Claiming TANKS will convert the REMAINDER of your Beta Points into TANKS token at the current conversion rate. Once you claim TANKS — you will have no more points remaining and cannot claim any NFT or join the tournament. Make sure this is what you want to do!

Joining the final and claiming NFT’s will increase the value of ALL remaining Beta points.

Tournament Preferences

For those who have joined the Beta Tournament — you will be given the option to vote and choose a different time and the energy drop duration.

The current default time is 10pm UTC and the current default energy drop duration is 60s. The Cauldron map will be used for this game.

Username

All users, whether you have participated in the Beta Tournament or now are able to claim a username.
